The Centre for the Studies of Asphyxia and Resuscitation

At CSAR, our mission is to ensure the safety, integrity, and scientific validity of clinical trials through rigorous oversight and monitoring. A key part of this commitment is to be participate in independent Data and Safety Monitoring Boards (DSMB), which plays a central role in safeguarding the well-being of our participants.

CSAR is composed of experienced trialists who provide ongoing, unbiased review of trials. They are responsible for monitoring trial data, participant safety, and treatment efficacy, and are empowered to make recommendations to modify or stop a trial if needed.

Through the work as Chair or Member on DSMBs, CSAR ensures that every clinical trial is conducted with the highest ethical standards, transparency, and a deep commitment to patient care.
