I recently had the pleasure of visiting Shanghai First Maternity and Infant Hospital to explore opportunities for future collaborations and exchange between our institutions. As the leading hospital for neonatal care in Shanghai, this impressive facility delivers over 25,000 babies each year—a remarkable testament to their expertise and dedication to maternal and newborn health.
During our visit, we engaged in many fruitful discussions focused on strengthening neonatal care and research. We explored exciting avenues for collaboration, including:
Delivery room resuscitation strategies
Implementation of the RETAIN Neonatal Resuscitation Simulation Game
Design and execution of randomized controlled trials
The enthusiasm and shared commitment to improving outcomes for newborns were truly inspiring. I look forward to building on these initial conversations and developing impactful, innovative projects together.
Stay tuned for more updates as we move forward in shaping this international partnership!
